Chief Minister Yuva Self Reliance Yojana (MYSY)


 Chief Minister Yuva Swalamban Yojana : Students who are eligible as per various resolutions of the Education Department and who have passed the Class 10 or Class 12 examination and are admitted to the first year of Diploma/Bachelor course in the academic year 2022-23 or freshers who have passed the Diploma examination and are admitted to Degree Course (D to D)  Students have to apply fresh online at https://mysy.guj.nic.in and students who have received assistance in the year 2018-19, year 2019-20, year 2020-21 and year 2021-22 will apply for second/third/fourth/fifth year assistance.  Online renewal application has to be done to get it.

 Assistance under the Chief Minister Yuva Self Reliance Yojana

 The amount of assistance available under MYSY scheme is as follows.

Tuition fees

 Course Maximum Limit Medical and Dental Rs.  2 lakhs Engineer/Technology, Pharmacy, Architecture, Agriculture, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Para-Medical, Veterinary.  50 thousand for diploma.  25 thousand BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.A., B.C.A.Rs.  10 thousand

 Accommodation and food assistance

 A student who is eligible and studying outside his native taluk.

 A student who cannot get admission in a government hostel.

 For 10 months Rs.  1200 per month for the fixed duration of the course.

 12000/- total per annum payable.

Tool book support


Available to students studying in Government and Self-Finance Colleges.  Aid will be available only once during the duration of the course.

 Specially for students:

Before registering and applying for renewal, every student must read the special instructions of all the details on the notice board without fail.  Only then register online and fill the application form.

Check the website regularly every week so that you don't miss out on important notifications and help with deadlines.

 As the sanctioned receivables amount is directly deposited in the student's bank account under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), students have to open an account in a Scheduled Bank and with this bank account students have to link their Aadhaar number invariably.

 To check whether the Aadhaar number is linked with the bank account or not, this link can be seen at https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper.  If Aadhaar is not linked to a bank account, the aid will not be credited to your bank account.

 If the Aadhaar number is linked with the bank account, the KCG office has to be informed.  Take special note of it.

 If the documents are not verified at the help center within 7 days after applying online, their online application will be automatically canceled and they will have to re-apply online and get the documents verified on the 7th day.

The student should give his/her own mobile number and not change it during the entire course period, important notifications will be given through SMS on the same number.

Income related information

 From the office of Mamlatdar / Taluka Development Officer for applying under the Chief Minister Yuva Swavalban Yojana.  From 01-04-2022 dt.  Income certificate of said parents has to be produced between 31-03-2023.  Hence, students should get the income certificate immediately after receiving their result.  Income certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.  So for renewal students, if 3 years are completed in the current year, get a new income certificate immediately.  Non-submission of income certificate within the said period will result in rejection of the student's application and no subsequent submissions from such students will be entertained.  Every student should take special note of this.

 Parents whose income for the financial year 2021-22 is Rs.  2.50 lakhs, they will have to attach a mandatory income tax return.

 The sum of gross income and exempted income shown in the income tax return form for Assessment Year 2022-23 will be treated as total income.

Student's parent's income is Rs.  2.50 lakhs and they are not filing income tax returns, only they have to give a self-declaration of “non-taxable income”.

 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR FRESH APPLYING STUDENTS

 Candidates who have given class 10th/12th examination in March/April 2022 and are in the first year of diploma/degree course in the current year or who have passed the diploma examination and got admission in the first/second year of the degree course in the current year should apply as fresher students.  If they have received assistance under Chief Minister Yuva Swavalamban Yojana in the previous year in the year 2021-22, then they have to apply as a renewal student in the current year.

 The admission process is ongoing by Centralized Admission Committee of Gujarat State and the students who want to reshfling should apply online only when their admission is confirmed and they don't want to go for reshfling.  The date will be extended as long as the admission rounds are going on which every student should note.

 Special instructions for students applying for renewal

If they have received assistance under Chief Minister Yuva Swavalamban Yojana in the previous year in the year 2021-22, then they have to apply as a renewal student in the current year.

 The students who have applied for rechecking/reassessment for which the results are not as expected should apply on the basis of the old results before the last date so that they are not deprived of applying under the Chief Minister Yuva Swavalamban Yojana.  Then the students have to upload the result of rechecking/reassessment online immediately on day 7.  Thus, 1) due to late arrival of results 2) application for rechecking / reassessment of students who have not applied within the time limit in the Chief Minister Yuva Swavalban Yojana will not be taken into consideration.  Every student should take special note of this.  Similarly, those students whose online result has been declared but the mark sheet is not available will also have to apply online based on the online result before the last date.

 Eligibility Criteria for Freshers

 Students who have secured 80 percentile or more in class 10th examination and are admitted in the first year of the prescribed diploma course.

 D-to-D students admitted to the first / second year of the Degree (Graduate) level course with 65% or more in Diploma course examination.

Students admitted in the first year of a prescribed graduate course with 80 percentile or more in Class 12 Science Stream or General Stream examination and

 Rs.  Children of parents having family annual income up to 6 lakhs

 Eligibility Criteria for Renewal Students

 In order to get the renewal assistance after availing the benefit as a fresher, one must pass the examination with at least 50% marks in the previous year of scholarship.

 As per the policy rules of the educational institution which will be required to have at least 75% attendance in that academic year.  A certificate from the organization is required.  (Format available on website).

 Self attested copy of Aadhaar Card.

 Self attested copy of mark sheet of passing class 10 or class 12.

 Self-attested copy of admission committee's letter of admission to degree/diploma course.

 Self Declaration (Original).

 Self-attested copy of income certificate of guardian (of Mamlatdar or Taluka Development Officer).

 Certificate (in original) from the Principal of the Institute, on the letterhead of the Institute.

 Self-attested copy of hostel admission and boarding pass.

 Self-attested copy of first page of passbook of savings account in bank.

 Self-attested copy of Income-tax return or self-declaration of non-taxable income (in original).

 Certificate for Scholarship Renewal from the Head of the Institution (in original).

 Copy (Self Attested) of all admissions fee paid by the student in 2nd / 3rd / 4th (year as applicable) of the course.

 Copy (self attested) of all access to hostel entry and meals.

 Copy of First Page Passbook of Student's Bank Savings Account (Self Attested).

 Self-attested copy of Income-tax return or self-declaration of non-taxable income (in original).
