Rajasthan Constabulary (RCC) is an institution that was established in the 16th century. The primary function of this institution is to maintain law and order in the state. The constabulary’s primary role is to provide regular police services and inform citizens about security issues in their area. Rajasthan Constabulary has three parts, Dungri Division, Jodhpur, and Bikaner Section. Some private detective trained cadres in the police force are known as secret police.
The Rajasthan constabulary consists of about nine squadrons, known as Danger Squadrons. The Danger Squadron consists of a commanding officer, a constable, and four lieutenants. These constables are selected based on merit, promotion, and other qualities of the candidate. For this post, candidates are required to pass a written examination to become a constable. They should also undergo the necessary training provided by the administration of the state.
To be eligible to become Rajasthan Constable, a candidate must join the Police Constable Organization and then prove his / her qualification by obtaining some basic qualifications. The candidate must apply for the Rajasthan Police Constable Admit Card and submit it along with his clearance certificate by the concerned authorities. The police authority of the area then issues this card. One should try to apply for Rajasthan Police Constable Admit Card at least once in their lifetime. This will help the police department to check if the person is eligible to be a constable.
Constables of various categories such as highway, traffic, civil and land enforcement are recruited into the service. To get recruitment in these categories, the recruitment process will follow a specific process. The first step would be to obtain an application form from the concerned police authority. Based on this form, the candidates will be shortlisted and then sent to what they will be interviewed before filling the constable posts.
Candidates accepted for recruitment will be sent for a thorough check-up, including fitness tests, psychological tests, and background checks, if the candidates are approved for recruitment. The recruitment process for Rajasthan Constables is scheduled from January to March.
